Welcome to our Family Website 2002 continues to be an interesting year! We finished building the house & moved in late February/early March. Big thanks went to Dave’s parents - Joan & Murlin - for letting us camp out with them for that last 6 weeks before we crossed the “sign-off” to move in finish line. The house & landscaping work is winding down to maintenance-mode, now that Dave’s lattice wall / arbor / & deck projects turned out so well. Dave left Cisco to join Openwave in mid-April where he is V.P. for Sales Ops, & Mary is @ a local partnership doing Product / Solutions Consulting. We took some great trips to Paris; Carmel/Monterey for our anniversary with the kids; Hong Kong /Tokyo; San Diego with everyone to see my college roommate Angie & her family (& their 15 assorted animals!); & Denver. We were honored to help Murlin & Joan celebrate their 50^th wedding anniversary in late April and to host some of Dave’s family for that weekend. We’ve especially enjoyed seeing friends thru the year… we’re looking forward to more messy dinners, 6:30 am golf rounds (at least Dave is), hiking afternoons, and generally staying in touch. Whitney & Max spent the summer playing basketball, volleyball, taking golf lessons with their Dad, hanging @ the pool, & trampolining with their friends. So far this fall, Whitney’s 8^th grade and Max’s 4^th grade experiences get 2 thumbs up. Soccer is the latest sport they’ve both taken up, so sports-wise, we’ve accumulated a little of everything in the garage. And Pookie – still clever & fabulous as always… has been joined by a chatty 12 year old Burmese rescue named Mr. Hobbes.
